K12 Learner Support is a collaborative venture between the Center for Community-Engaged Learning, the DirecTrack to Teaching Program, and the Office of Teacher Education. When we realized that it was unlikely volunteers would be able to go into schools and most community groups to work with youth in the fall, we decided to work to create a platform to help facilitate connections. We hope that through our shared work we can help reduce the education debt and address inequities exacerbated by the COVID19 pandemic. The UMN deeply values its partnerships with K-12 schools and community organizations and seeks to provide valuable connections to our brilliant and multitalented university students to support K12 learners.
